Review
A good volume on human evolution (which will therefore be more than controversial in some households), and one which is particularly kind in how it illustrates poor, much-maligned Neanderthal man, both in the illustration in the text and in the final, standard "ascent of man" picture. As usual with the "How Did We Find Out" books, adults may find their attention waning (although the book will probably be over before any adult really notices).
