In a society devoted to the pleasures of the palate, a young man introduces a marvelous dish with a most unusual ingredient.

Fun, fun, fun. This terrific and hilarious story was originally published as book in its own right (called, strangely enough, Good Taste), reprinted in toto in Opus 200 and deserves to be in more places than that—for example, it should have been in The Best Science Fiction of Isaac Asimov.

Here we have in any event a delightful tale told against the background of a truly interesting society. The characters themselves are not unusual by any means, but it all holds together well and has a marvelous and wonderful ending.
